Flies Used: Royal Stimulator #14; Elk Hair Caddis #12; Para Adams #16; Red Copper John #16 (tungsten); Prince Nymph #14; Black Woolly Bugger #8.
Other Details: Fished 5 miles of private river and private ponds from the bridge on Hwy 30 up to where Cottonwood Creek and the Lake Fork merge.

This fish was holding in some fast water...about 12 inches deep. I couldn't see this fish but it came up and took my #10 Royal Stimulator off the surface. The fish stripped my downstream about 50 yards. Had to chase. Tripped, fell down and busted my net into 5 pieces. But, landed the fish anyway. Great fight.
Did I help you land it or did you already have it in hand by the time I crossed over?
