March Installment of VFG-TV

Changes are coming to VFG.....

In an attempt to create a more relevant and up to date site, www.flyguides.net will transition to www.virtualflyguides.blogspot.com . The main body of the site will have continually updated content, featured videos and photos, and information pertaining to the Virtual Fly Guides.

The main focus for the Virtual Fly Guides, from the beginning (over two years ago), was to create an atmosphere for fly fishers to post their personal fly fishing reports. In the current operation, the submission process is a little tedious for the submitter and difficult from an operational standpoint to manage the postings on our end. We are developing a new posting process that will utilize our existing VFG Bulletin Board.

The VFG Bulletin Board will become the posting platform for our Virtual Guide Reports. It is easily found on the left of the blog/main page below the VFG Logo. This will take you to the new, Virtual Fly Guide Reports and initially require a login and password to join. The reports will allow the posters to create reports that reflect the style of the fly fisher. It will also allow the Virtual Fly Guides to create their own profile. Best of all, when reports are posted, they are automatically uploaded to the site. This allows for an all-in-one posting, text and photo together. No more multiple steps to submit reports.

Until we are fully transitioned, feel free to utilize our new format or submit reports through www.flyguides.net .

We are very excited about the future of the Virtual Fly Guides.
